The two-block building, which is built on six-levels (Basement + Ground floor + four floors) covers an area of about 7500m2 and is intended to be the work place of around 400 people.
Cooling / Heating Plant:
Cooling is provided into the building through a combination of VRV units and Chiller – Air-Handling-Units system. The Heating load is satisfied through a combination of solar panels & Heat Pumps system.
Cold water storage:
Cold Water is stored in two 24m3 each Glass Reinforced Plastic type (GRP) sectional tanks which are situated on the roof of the building. Water is distributed into the building through a Booster set which is situated in the basement, where the main plant-room is located. Hot Water
Hot water is produced primarily using solar energy through an 80m2 vacuum type solar collectors. In case that the solar energy can not provide the required heating load then three Heat pumps are employed so that to assist in the production of the required heating load.
